Guest Speaker Chris Symons
Birds & Bees of the Pinnacles
Chris Symons has been working with the National Park Service since 2018, but has been interested in Environmental Education since he was a child. Chris studied Environmental Science, Journalism, and Education at Michigan State University, and received his Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America building a rain garden project that is still in operation today. While he spends his days in a Ranger's flat hat talking about the birds and bees of Pinnacles, he also enjoys reading, boating, discovering new crafts and hobbies, and (poorly) playing his mandolin.

Where Do District Governors Come From?
They come from Rotary Clubs just like yours!
You are cordially invited to join in an informal discussion with current and Past District Governors on Saturday, October 9, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Topics include:
- Who can be District Governor?
- How is the District Governor selected?
- What roles does the District Governor have in the years before and after the DG year?
- What is the expected time commitment?
- Is there a financial commitment?
- What resources does the District and Rotary International provide to assist the District Governor?
- ... AND MORE
Whether you are considering the District Governor position -- or are curious about what is involved from the nomination process to becoming a District Governor -- this program promises to give a broad overview with Q & A. Rotarians and their partners are invited to join in the discussion.
